Why Super Bowl 56 will be a good one

Super Bowl 56 will be an enjoyable match up with two very exciting teams and here’s why it will be such a fun game. First off, you have quarterback Joe Burrow, who had a season-ending injury midway through his rookie season, bringing this young Bengals team all the way to the Super Bowl. Burrow came 6th in total passing yards this season with just over 4,600 yards. You also have one of the most exciting wide receivers this season in rookie Ja’marr Chase who had one of the best rookie receiver seasons ever. He also broke his former teammates’, Justin Jefferson(WR, Vikings), rookie receiving record with 1,455 yds. They also have Tee Higgins who has had a stellar performance this season with just above 1,000 yds and 6 tds. Joe Mixon also had a great season with a career-high of 1,205 rushing yards and 314 receiving yards. Samaje Perrine has also complimented the Bengals run game with 246 yards although he saw very few carries in general he had 4.5 yds per carry. This will be the Bengals’ first Super Bowl appearance since 1989.

Then we have the Rams(Basically the remake of the greatest show on turf). Led by their new QB Matt Stafford who came out of the wasteland known as Detroit, to lead the Rams to the promise land. Stafford threw for a great 4,886 yards this season, the most since 2012 when he threw for 4,967 yds and Calvin Johnson caught an NFL record of 1,964 yards. Talking about the best WR receiving season ever, Stafford’s new receiver Cooper Kupp had the second greatest receiving season ever this year with 1,916 yards. Not to forget about WR Odell Beckham Jr. who has had a major on helping the Rams’ pass-heavy offense. There is also Robert Woods who has been more quiet yet helpful nonetheless with 556 yards and 4 tds. Even though it’s easy to forget the Rams do have a very nice run game from Cam Akers with 682 yds and Sony Michel with a stellar 845 yds.

I think it’s safe to expect an offense-heavy Superbowl this year. The defense side of the story is pretty interesting. I think it’s safe to say we will see a Ja’marr Chase v. Jalen Ramsey match up which will be very interesting. I would also like to see how Joe Burrow will handle the pressure of Leonard Floyd, Aaron Donald, and Von Miller, especially with his porous offensive line. Another thing I look forward to seeing would be how the Bengals defense handles the Rams explosive offense or if it ends up being the Rams manhandling the Bengals defense. Especially in the playoffs, the Bengals D has proved to be clutch and make necessary stops against the Chiefs and Titans incredible offenses. Also, this year will be the second year in a row when a Super Bowl team has played at home, this time it’s the Rams hosting it in their very own SoFi stadium. I am very excited about this because I feel like it’s going to make the presentation of the Super Bowl even better because of how neat the stadium is. So who do you think is taking home the Lombardi this year? I have a feeling that the Rams might edge out the Bengals 26–23.
